Nesta 41ª edição, o boletim eletrônico da Biblioteca de Ciências Biomédicasda Fiocruz traz artigos sobre sarampo e malária, doenças que hoje em dia são controladas com as campanhas de imunização do Ministério da Saúde, em alusão ao dia 17/10, Dia Nacional da Vacinação. O boletim visa ampliar o acesso à informação científica em saúde, principalmente em relação a doenças infecciosas e parasitárias. Nele, o leitor terá acesso aos números anteriores das revistas ao clicar nos títulos, a todo o conteúdo do artigo no link 'Leia o artigo' e a fontes de informação qualificadas sobre temáticas específicas, selecionadas por profissionais de informação do Instituto de Comunicação e Informação Científica e Tecnológica em Saúde da Fiocruz, em edições mensais.
